DW Collector’s 14x5.5” Frankenstein Snare - DW Parts on Unknown Shell

This snare was purchased secondhand and appears to not be a genuine DW.

The hardware is DW and features a Collector’s badge, mag lock, etc.

The shell, which is beautiful, feels like brass.
Someone on a DW forum thought the shell looked like a Latin Percussion model.
There are vent holes in the shell.
My guess is the shell is powder coated.
Heads are in good shape.
Some wear and tear on the snare.

I will restate, I am not implying this drum is a DW. If anything it is a Frankenstein snare made up of various parts. I have reached out to DW and they do not believe it is one of their models. There is an option this could be a one-of-one prototype, but that is unlikely.
